Mr Pickins is a 26 lb Jack Russell Terrier mix. He is 8 years old and just the sweetest thing. He ended up at the shelter because he has outlived his last couple owners. Pickins would love to cuddle up and watch movies together. He likes dogs, cats, kids, and anything in between. Are you the family he can live the rest of his life with. Make an appointment to come out and see him. The adoption fee is $250 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. *****We are currently operating by appointment only during the social distancing stage of quarantine. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.
