Apples is a happy go lucky guy that would love to find a home to spend the rest of his time in. He is around 10 years old and likes to be with his people. Apple is currently around 17 pounds. We have recently found that Apples is in the beginning stages of congestive heart failure, so we are looking for a hospice home for him to spend the rest of his time in instead of being at the shelter. He is currently on two different medications that he is doing well on, and he does not mind taking them as long as they are in some food! He will need a home that is able to work with their veterinarian to keep Apples happy and comfortable for the rest of his life. It is recommended that Apples see a cardiologist to get a more in depth look at his heart function. Right now, besides some coughing before being put on the medications Apples has been an active and happy guy! Apples does not do well with children so a home with just adults would be best for him. Apples did well with the tester cat here at the shelter, but it is recommended that supervision between him and a new cat roommate would be best until they get to know one another better.
