Mitera found herself battling mange, abandoned in a shelter, left behind when another rescue took her puppies that she had weaned and raised and left her behind as the shelter filled up and euthanasias would begin soon. We were notified of her story, which was almost identical to another Husky in the shelter that also left with us that day. Mitera is a very sweet and bubbly personality. She has lived in foster care prior to her time with us with other dogs and with cats. She has been known to jump a 4ft fence and so supervision or a 6ft fence would be required outdoors to keep her safe. She would equally do well with leash walks if no yard is available to her future home. She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped with lifetime registration, heartworm negative and on prevention. She is crate trained and does appear house trained as well. She adores attention and would love to have a moderately active lifestyle - regular walks and occasional adventures would be great for her.
