Loretta is almost two & is an adorable terrier/basset hound mix with the cutest low-rider body. Loretta was taken in to rescue with her babies who she cared for wonderfully. Her little ones are now independently fostered & it's time for Loretta to find her own home and experience the joys of being a loved family pet. Loretta is shy at first & reserved with unknown situations but warms up quickly. In Texas, where she came from, she was fostered with other dogs & did well however since she's been in Wisconsin she has been cautious around new dogs, so we are recommending her as an only dog or with a friendly dog & she may require multiple careful introductions. Regardless everyone agrees Loretta loves people & is very friendly & cuddly with everyone. Loretta is spayed, current on all vaccinations & ready & waiting to meet her new family.DATCP#483538Adoption processIf you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application at rescuegang.org/adopt. Step 2: Background Check, Landlord Check, Vet CheckWe will check to make sure that you do not have any violent charges, are allowed pets where you live, and will check with your vet to make sure your animals have remained up to date on testing, vaccinations, and checkups. Step 3: Meet and GreetIf approved, our adoption coordinator will set you up with the foster parent’s contact information. It is up to you to call the foster parent and schedule a meet and greet. Step 4: Home VisitOne of our volunteers will come to your house and conduct a home visit with the help of a checklist. Step 5: Adoption DecisionRescue Gang will decide if both parties would make a great fit for each other! If so, we can go about finalizing your adoption!
