Don't you just love Kenya's ear tufts? With her gorgeous, audburn colored coat she is indeed a beautiful dog! In addition to her beauty, Kenya is friendly and playful with the other dogs in her foster home and enjoys their companionship a great deal. She is shy when encountering new situations but that's just because she hasn't experienced much. There is absolutly no fear aggresion! She is good with other people and dogs - it takes her some time before she feels safe. Because of her reticence with new situations, Kenya has requested someone who understands shy dogs. Maybe another doggie too? You know, someone to show her the ropes from a doggie perspective and assure her that all is good. Canine's do so much in the way of reassuring shy dogs. When she witnesses their trust in new situations she instantly feels more at ease. Kenya just needs time and space to be herself. You can see in her video how much Kenya enjoys romping and playing in the yard so someone who enjoys the outdoor and/or has a fenced yard. Kenya is very sweet natured and her soft eyes will instantly capture your heart! Kenya loves the outdoors - playing in the snow, running in the water, helping with yard work, lounging in the sun. We are estimating Kenya to be between 1.5 and 2.5 years old and probably an Australian Shepherd mix. She weighs a petitie 35 - 38 pounds.
