Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue is not directly adopting this pet but helping broadcast them to a wider range of potential adopters.We would like you to meet Venus & Belke. They came to us after the state shut down the breeder they came from. These two girls are almost 4 years old and spayed female Huskies. They have been at the shelter for 2 years, 800 + days. One of the main things we are still working on to this day is gaining their trust. They both love other dogs and definitely are more comfortable with other dogs than humans. The ideal home would have a fenced area and patience to help gain their trust more but be willing to offer them a home of their own. Belke is not a fan of leashes, so we are working on that with her. Sometimes she'll bite at the leash because she isn't used to it. They do sometimes have accidents in their kennels, so house training/ kennel training will need some work. We are looking for someone to give them a second chance and their forever home together. Time and patience is key to providing them the best home.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our short Adoption Application to start the adoption process.
