Charlie was rescued from a home where he was left behind with his sister Piper when his 'people' moved away. He was very skinny and covered in ticks. Luckily, Charlie does not hold that against anyone and is very loveable. He is a smart dog and is doing well in a foster home with multiple other dogs of all sizes. He is probably just about a year old and has been updated on shots, working, microchip, heartworm preventative and flea and tick prevention. He is no-reactive when other dogs are getting treats at the same time as he is and is non-reactive to a Chihuahua attacking him every once in a while! Charlie needs an understanding home who can work with him on his eating process. He is not resource aggressive at all, not aggressive in any fashion, however, he is very excited about feeding time and will begin eating while the bowl is being put down and will finish in seconds. He was weeks without food so is still processing that he gets fed regularly. He also does walk on a slip-lead, but will need more work on that as well. Charlie is a loving dog who deserves a loving home with a fenced yard to enjoy his time outside in a safe area.
