Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Grand Junction, COMeet Chance! He is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix and weighs 50-60 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots (except for bordetella) and on heartworm prevention. Chance is fearful of strangers and kids. He is ok with cats but needs to be the only dog in the home. The owner is surrendering him because he is under socialized and has fear aggression.Chance has a bite history. This has happened when meeting new people. He usually warms up to them after a few minutes. One of the bite incidents occurred when someone leaned over to pet him. He needs a home with a patient adopter to help him with his training. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Chance, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
