INTRODUCING ALLIE! (Descriptor: Precocious) This adorable little girl is approximately 2 years old and weighs 15.4 pounds. Originally a stray, she found herself at the Anne Arundel County Animal Care and Control shelter where she charmed everyone she met with her pixie haircut and little-dog antics. Categorized as a Border Terrier mix, she also resembles a Wire Haired Dachshund based on her build. She enjoys her walkies and loves to dance (except when sleeping, which she does at the drop of a hat!) She loves being outside and is a tad of an escape artist so she can get right to it! (A harness may help while walking, as she likes to try to show you the way.) She will jump in your lap, and quickly take charge of your car, couch and house! Allie is quickly settling into her new foster home and is becoming part of the arguably cutest pack this side of the Mississippi (two Frenchies and a year-old English Bulldog). She has also lived with a pug and a German Shepherd. Very playful; this little lady doesn’t wait for an invitation - she is the life of the party! Yet she is not all bravado, little Miss Allie can become inquisitor at times if she’s unsure of what’s going on…and will tell you about it. She may protest at first, but she sleeps well in a crate. However, if you’re ok with it, Allie will cuddle up and sleep with you with no problems. A treat aficionado, Allie will be fun to train (as long as you don’t use vegetables!) She is good with kids 16+ years old and will make her adopted family very happy if they are looking for a cute and cuddly little girl who likely didn’t have any puppy-handling of feet, ears and teeth to acclimate her to comfortably being groomed there. Allie’s adoption donation fee is $450, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip.
