SOPHIA is a fantastic dog who is being cared for by one of our trusted rescue partners. SOPHIA is NOT a Woof River dog, however an adoption coordinator from Woof River will be handling the applications. SOFIA is as delightful as she is adorable. She is a strong, happy girl who wants nothing more than to please her humans. She is smart, sweet and so much fun. Her favorite things are playing and snuggling in your lap. She also loves lounging outside in the sun. Her sparkling, soulful eyes radiate kindness. After just a short time with her, you will know just what an amazing dog she is. SOFIA is an incredibly loyal and endlessly affectionate kind of pup. She loves new people and loves to greet them with all sorts of wiggles. SOFIA mostly likes to have fun. She even knows the names of all of her toys. Whether it be self entertaining with her beloved toys or going to doggie daycare, this goofball is always having fun. She also loves playing with other dogs and gets along well with everyone she meets. She is a confident dog who would happily accompany her family on any and all outdoor activities. She is the type of dog that loves a daily excursion and would make a perfect companion for all of life's adventures. She would also excel at obedience training and her person will have a blast teaching her. SOFIA is laid back in the car and enjoys the ride, no matter where she's going. She is learning nice house manners and is excellent while her foster family is not home. Her forever family will feel like they hit the jackpot every day with this wonderful, good-natured baby! Like all of Woof River's dogs, SOPHIA will be beginning her journey in Memphis, Tennessee where she will remain until adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport. Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
