This is Jefferson. We have found he likes to play with a dog named Daisy here at the shelter. He loves to run around and play with each other. He is pretty clean in his kennel and barks for us to take him out, but once out he is a joy to play with. He is very loving and sits for treats. Long walks or fenced in back yard is always the best environment for dogs, but exercise is the main goal. We can test our dogs with other dogs at the shelter, but not every dog may get along with your dog this is why if you do have a pet at home we strongly suggest meet and greets before adopting. When adopting an animal at the shelter please know the responsibility of an animal. Most of the animals at the shelter have come in as a stray which mean they may not know how to sit or stay. They also might not have manners such as not to jump. Adopting takes patience. Please research the dog breed you are interested in and remember it takes time.
