My name is Lia. So, I am a Husky. That means I was bred to RUN, RUN, RUN, not be a stoic ornamental in your house. My life is ment to be chewing, digging, singing the sweet songs of my people, exploring, playing with dogs, chasing small animals, etc. I am looking for a home, not apartment or condo, that has a wanderlust spirit and preferably experience and adoration for Northern breeds. I want adventure to be part of my daily life, this means 14ers on the weekend, long camping trips, walks on a long line so I can sniff my heart out and flush little bunnies I see, and lots and LOTS of toys. If I don`t have these needs met, I am gonna give you a run for your money. I can growl over my items and may do best as the only dog in the home but that DOES NOT mean that I should be inhibited from social interactions. This can be managed so it would be wonderful if my adopter read the book MINE! by Jean Donaldson. While I am a spirited girl, it doesn`t mean I need a `heavy hand or an alpha` thats a crock of hooey, it means I need to live a life of adventure, get to express my natural behaviors and create a stronnd bond built on trust with my owner. If you are a Husky lover, please take a look at me. If you are looking for a `Just Add Water` dog, keep on looking because I will need much more than that.
