MEET SAINT! Saint is a handsome and loving boy looking for his furever home! He is a sweet and cuddly boy who enjoys playing with his favorite stuffed toys. Saint is already crate trained and potty trained. His adopters should keep a potty training schedule and continue using his crate to help with his training. Saint is leash trained but is very strong and will need an adopter dedicated to continuing to work on his leash skills. Saint is considered a Special Care animal due to showing high signs of stress in the shelter and needing behavioral medication. His adopters will need to develop a relationship with a private vet that is comfortable with the use of behavioral medication, as he will need these medications long term. When Saint becomes stressed or has another strong emotion, he may mount and hump. To help Saint work on his impulse control and over arousal, he should be redirected to different behaviors. Saint is reported to be friendly with other dogs and cats, and could go home to other animals with a slow introduction.
