This adorable 3.5-year-old boy found his way to Pug Nation after a rough start as a stray. Despite facing adversity, Kane's spirit shines bright, and he's ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love and happiness.Though his journey may have been challenging, Kane remains a beacon of resilience. He captured our hearts with his loving nature, always eager to snuggle up and share his affection with anyone he meets. Kane gets along famously with other dogs and adores being around people.When Kane was first impounded at a local city shelter, his unique way of walking raised concerns about a potential accident. They believed he had been hit by a car and reached out to us to help him. Our vet reviewed his x-rays and confirmed that he suffered from two pelvic fractures in his left hip. While one fracture poses no long-term issues, the other has affected his mobility, particularly in his back legs.Surgery is not the best option due to the fracture's location. Our vet believes that strict rest for 2-3 months will provide Kane with the best outcome. During this healing period, we thought it would be ideal to introduce Kane to the world, hoping that a loving family will be ready to welcome him into their hearts and home when he's fully recovered.Kane's disability doesn't define him. He may always have some mobility challenges, but his determination and affectionate spirit will undoubtedly win hearts wherever he goes.
