Coco is the sweetest girl. She is a 10 month old, 45 lbs terrier mix who loves to cuddle, play with people and other dogs, go on walks, be outside, and to smother you with kisses. She is great with kids of all ages, just needs to be watched for accidentally knocking littles down when she’s excited. Coco is house and kennel trained. Coco has a special prance when she walks. She suffered a growth plate injury to her front leg and underwent surgery in January of 2024. Although her bone has now completely healed, she still walks with a limp. While the surgeon does not feel she’s in pain currently, amputation may be necessary in the future.Coco's adoption fee js $300. Please apply at Www.foreverhomedogs.org to meet her!All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.Adoption processAll our rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on core vaccines (DAPP, bordetella and rabies if over 16 weeks of age), adults are heartworm tested, and all dogs are micro-chipped and have necessary veterinary care. Our adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and $100 for a senior dogs 8+ years old. All our dogs are in temporary care homes. Please be aware you must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. We verify rental/condo policies as well as home ownership. If you have had prior pets, we will call your vet to confirm responsible pet care. A home visit will also be conducted prior to approval.Shelter locationWe do not have a shelter building.
