OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Baxter is playful and energetic. He will rub on you like a cat does when they want attention. He needs some work on leash manners, but is independent and can play on his own if need be. He enjoys playing with balls and is very sweet. Not a fan of being restrained (hugged); a home with older, dog-savvy children would be best. Although he may chase a cat if he had the chance, he’s friendly toward the other dogs here at the shelter.Weighs 55 pounds; $25 to adopt.
