Our big Great Pyr mix boy puppy is called Patriot and he is 8 months old and weighs in at 74 pounds already! This very sweet and outgoing boy was born on a 300 acre farm and pretty much he and the litter just had to make their own way with very little kindness shown to them from the family whose dog accidentally got pregnant. Critter Cavalry Rescue was contacted by a kind man who went to get all 6 of the brothers before the man euthanized them. The Sheriff’s Department was going to fine him for letting the dog roam loose and the man’s only solution was either find another foster for them or to shoot them. These 6 big brothers are miracles to be alive. Patriot seems to be the most social and confident boy in the bunch. He loves to be center of attention and seems to be very friendly, happy and not shy in the least. Like most Great Pyrs, he does have a voice and will let you know when he wants to express himself or warn of strange people or creatures in the area. Patriot loves attention and craves to be in the center of all that is going on. He is like his brother Eiman when it comes to affection and attention. Patriot gives great kisses and will snuggle with you even though he is the largest pup in the group. He most probably will be a 95 pound boy when fully grown.
