Hi guys! They call me Frank, how did they know that`s my name? I`m an 8 year old mature guy and weigh 50 pounds. I`ve still got lots of love to give if only someone would let me. My new people friends here at the shelter love my brindle coat and soul searching eyes. I`m a real friendly guy looking for someone to spend the rest of my days with, please don`t get discouraged about my age, us older dogs need homes too. We`ve got so much to offer but some get discouraged with `time left`. I`ve always felt it`s not the amount of years in your life, but the amount of life in your years. I`ve got lots to give to the right person! I do love toys, I`m just missing someone to play with. Wouldn`t a game of tug of war, or fetch be awesome? I do get a little seperation anxiety when I`m alone, it`s just because I love to be around people and I get lonely. I am crate trained and I have been around kids in the past. I`ve also been around a few dogs, all of them female and have done rather well with them. It`s unknown about other male dogs and cats. A slow and steady introduction is probably the best way to approach meeting everyone in your home. The shelter does offer a 14 day cuddle program to ensure I get enough time to take things slow and to make sure we`re the best fit for eachother. Nothing to lose really, but everything to gain. You can include multiple pets that you are interested in on one application. *Once you have submitted your adoption application, please visit the shelter to speak with one of our Adoption Counselors, who will assist you with meeting some of our animals. *We offer a Cuddle before you Commit program where you can foster an animal for 2 weeks, slowly introduce it to the rest of your animals and family, and then finalize your decision.
