Leo is a long and tall, sweet and shy 4-year old dog from Kosovo. He is probably an Eastern European Village Dog but you can have fun guessing what breeds he looks like. People have said smooth collie, greyhound and more! What's your guess?Leo is learning how to walk on leash and live in a home. He was born on the streets and grew up in a dog shelter in Pristina. He is excellent with other dogs. He does have a few scars that indicate he may have been picked on living in a pen with many other dogs. Leo just wants to get along and would love a nice companion dog. He's been a perfect gentleman in his foster home with 5 other dogs. We don't have cats or children so we don't know how he would do with them.Leo has done very well learning to crate and to potty outside - not one accident so far. We're doing some socialization to this new world outside the dog shelter. Leo has a wonderful temperament - he is shy and has some fears, but has done everything we have asked of him (we ask gently) and is so much more relaxed in just a week of being in the US!Follow along as Leo learns to be the great family dog he was destined to be. Maybe your family is where this great dog will find his furever home?
