Meet Bella! All you Lab lovers, here is an awesome opportunity to adopt that loving, goofy, playful personality that you get with having a labrador. Bella came to us recently with her siblings after having hundreds of quills in her face, mouth, and chest... we knew she needed help. Her owners were not able to financially care for Bella and her siblings, so they surrendered them to CHA. Bella does well with other dogs and has that typical labrador personality. She does well in her kennel. She does have a bit of a prey drive with wild animals, so her adopters should be mindful of that. She is treat-motivated and enjoys pets and snuggles. She is unfortunately heartworm positive and will need to undergo treatment. CHA will cover that cost after she is settled in a home. If you think Bella would be a good fit, send us a message or stop on over!All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $175 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $250, and dogs over the age of 10 are $85. Adult cat adoption fees are $50, kittens under one year are $120, and cats over the age of 10 are $35.
