It’s hard to feel like the king of Pride Rock (or of anything really) when you’re stuck in the shelter. This handsome young boy would love to find a home where he can live the royal life that he deserves! Mufasa lived in one home most of his life and was reportedly good with people and kids as young as three. His owner moved away and Mufasa spent two months in another home where he was unfortunately kept as an outdoor only pet. One requirement for his future home will be that he’s welcome indoors to be a real part of the family. Mufasa is a sweet dog who has been very nervous while in the shelter. He needs a patient family who can help him build confidence in a safe and secure environment. Mufasa has been nervous but tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup, and has shown that he may prefer female dogs rather than males. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit, and may benefit from a well- matched, confident friend. Please ask to meet Mufasa today!!
