Winky is a small 3 yr old 12 lb Shih Tzu who loves her people! Winky had to have one of her eyes removed after being attacked by a large dog, but she doesn't let that stop her one bit! Winky is the sweetest spunky little gal who likes to run around and play. She can be pretty vocal when left alone, or when she sees other animals walking past, so she may do best with a family who has a house and yard, and not an apartment or townhome. Winky walks well on a leash, and she is working on house training, but uses pee pads in between her walks. She is fully vetted and ready to find her forever home! So please be patient with us to respond to your adoption application. Adoption Fee: $350 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with the foster to set up a meet and greet. We are a foster based RESCUE, not a shelter. All of our dogs are in individual foster homes. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
