Hi. I’m Cumberland. I am a 9 month old hound mix. My story is a sad one. I was found at Cumberland lake as a stray. I had seen lots of families come and go, but I was always left behind. I really wanted my own family. Finally, a nice lady who came for a visit found me and reached out to Adopt A Pit. Now I am with my foster family. I am looking to find my forever home with people who will love me forever. I am good with cats and other dogs. I am loving these things called treats. I am doing well with my house training. I am a bit of a Velcro dog right now because I wanna make sure I don’t get left behind again. My foster mom says I’m a very sweet boy. If you would like to show me what it’s like to have my own forever family, apply to adopt me today. Adoption fee is $250. He is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
