- Are you looking for a dog you can take anywhere? Or a young dog you can train for emotional support or therapy? Fresco is a great match for all of that!- Fresco is about 12 weeks old and 21 pounds, and now is the perfect time for him to begin his new life with his new family. What we've learned about Fresco since he's come to stay with us:- Adores people. Like, all people, including strangers, children, strange children, EVERYONE. Fresco currently lives with a 10 year-old child.- Playful with other dogs. Fresco currently lives with a small, older chihuahua who refuses to play with him. He keeps hoping the chi will change his mind, but doesn't push it.- Friendly towards cats. Fresco currently lives with 2 cats who refuse to play with him. He keeps hoping at least one cat will change her mind, but doesn't push it.- Easy to walk. Fresco enjoys a leisurely stroll with a lot of sniffing. He does not pull and routinely checks in to make sure we're all going the right way together.- Easy to train. The only thing Fresco enjoys as much as people is treats. He's mastering potty training and has learned "sit" and "leave it". He's an enthusiastic learner and very eager to please.- Comfortable in a crate. Fresco sleeps overnight in his crate and periodically throughout the day. He enters easily for a few treats and remains calm when in there while he has something to chew on.- Easy to handle. Fresco can be bathed by one person, tolerates having his nails trimmed, and can be easily redirected to more desirable activities that he might otherwise not choose on his own.- Not reactive. Fresco does not react to passing cyclists, buses, scooters, etc. when on walks. He does not bark in or outside the home.- Expert napper. Fresco builds a nest out his blanket before settling in to rest, and then makes cute puppy snores while he sleeps.- Fresco is a wonderful puppy bursting with puppy fun and puppy love. He'll make you smile, I promise.
