Damon is a 3 year old Siberian Husky weighing 49 pounds. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender. Damon has a very laid back, chill personality. Typical Husky, friendly with new people, has a stubborn streak, good with children. Favorites are car rides & running. He is crate trained (will bark until he gives up). He is housebroken, needs to be walked when it's time! Knows commands sit & shake. Could use more leash and obedience training (highly recommend). Is good with other dogs as long as food is not involved. He is used to having a fenced in yard. Damon is double coated and will require regular maintenance grooming for his coat. Knowledge of his breed is highly recommended. Potential adopters must be knowledgeable of the breed and their specific needs. His adoption fee is $200, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $20.75. Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today!
