Adopt Bailey a Gray/Silver/Salt & Pepper - with Black Labrador Retriever / Mixed

We'd like to introduce Bailey, the sweetest silver lab girl! Bailey is a two year old silver lab who has absolutely stolen our hearts. Bailey's skin is in terrible shape and we believe this is the result of a flea infestation. Her skin is enflamed, scabbed and itchy - and her skin condition has caused her to lose a decent amount of fur on her back, tail and legs. Our vet has started her on a round of steroids and antibiotics and we've started medicated baths (although she's not a huge fan of those ). We will continue to provide her with any and all care needed to get her back to comfortable, with her skin cleared up and her fur grown back. Please please please be sure to give your pets monthly flea/tick preventatives (Heartworm too!) to keep your pets from suffering like Bailey is. Despite her obvious pain and discomfort, Bailey has the best disposition . She is a happy go lucky girl with a ton of love to give and she would be happy in almost any home as long as she can get attention from her humans. She's crate trained, housebroken, loves other dogs and all humans, and walks pretty well on a leash. Bailey has received all of her vaccines and microchip, and is awaiting her OK for her spay, but we would entertain placing her ahead of time if you are open to bringing her to Sarasota for her appointment. Her adoption fee is $300.
