Guapo and Rose are 12 year old Bully-mixes that belong to a beloved VAO Volunteer. They are very bonded and their owner is in the hospital and may be unable to care for them for a while. We are looking for a very special person who would be willing to foster them both. They would need to be the only animals in your home, and you would need a fenced yard. We know that's a big ask, but they are very good dogs who are missing their human, and they are not doing well in a kennel environment. If you think that you might be able to help Rose & Guapo, please send an email to our canine foster coordinator at XXXX@vaonj.org or fill out a foster application on our website.Adoption processAll potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age. An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.Shelter locationOur orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning. On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.
