Venus is an adorable and energetic shepherd mix with tiny little legs and an estimated birthday of 09/19/2021 that came to Murci's Mission from our rescue partners at SCRAPS. Venus has made massive progress since coming to Murci's Mission animal rescue and she is more ready than ever for her perfect forever family. She is still aloof, but no longer reactive to people and is able to make friends pretty quickly with those she encounters. She's still socially awkward with other animals, but could be adopted into a home with other pets if the adopter was willing to put some work into helping her settle and setting up boundaries for her as she finds her place in a new home dynamic. Venus came to SCRAPS with a severe case of fleas and she has since been treated. We are feeding her an over the counter limited ingredient food to help her skin and coat recouperare as fast as possible. She now has a full coat of beautiful hair and her ears are no longer infected. Venus would make a great addition to any family with room in the heart and home for another pet and patience to let her adjust and continue to build confidence and self control. She comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes her leash, collar, ID tag and a sample of the food she's been eating.
