**COURTESY POST** Meet SWEET puppy Charlie! Charlie is just barely 5 months old and was left abandoned in a parking lot in downtown Houston. Lucky for him, a good samaritan snatched him up and has been teaching him what it's like to live in a home. He is learning his sit, his stay, he knows to wait to eat and eat in his kennel! His foster pup siblings love the extra playmate but he really deserves a home of his own. And did we mention naps? Yeah, Charlie loves to nap! The customary adoption fee is $150 for dogs $85 for cats.Shelter locationScout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.
