Why hello, pleased to meet ya! My name is Elsie and I am a seven year young husky. And yes, I put ‘young' instead of ‘old' because it's the truth. I'm not old! The youngsters here at the shelter crack jokes about my age and love to call me grandma. Yet, every time I challenge them to a tug-a-war battle to show them I've still got it, they run off. Pff... crazy kids. Anyways, enough about my age, I'm sure you are eager to learn about my fabulous self. I have reached a point in my dog life where I am in the middle of being both energetic and calm. I still get the zoomies and love to play, but also take a liking to being laid-back. When I'm in a playful mood, I run around and stretch my beautiful husky legs! Chasing is also a pretty fun game for me. I will admit I can get tired easily and will resort to laying down and suckering you humans into giving me belly rubs! Mwahaha! I love belly rubs! Just watch out because I might steal a kiss or two, but I promise I give the best kisses. Not the wet smooches, but the soft dog kisses... you know what I'm talking about! I know you probably came on here to look at much younger dogs, but I've still got a lot of life in me. Don't be fooled by my age - it doesn't take away the fact that I would make a fun, loving pet. I don't know how I found myself in a shelter, but I am determined to prove how great of a dog I am. I know deep down I would make the perfect addition to a family.
