My name is Birdie! Why, you ask? Because I'm fast and nimble like a little bird! In fact, my RVSPCA friends had a hard time getting photos of me because I was too excited to sit still. I can jump, I can dive, I sometimes believe I can fly, and I love belly rubs! Birds... like belly rubs... right? Well, this little birdie certainly does. I'm a sweet and active young dog who has never met a stranger and would love to meet you too!I am spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Come meet me! Appointments can be made by calling 540-339-XXXX. Walk-in's will be offered the next available appointment. Pets are adopted on a first come basis. Adoption fees may be paid in cash, debit or credit card (VISA or MasterCard). All pets available for adoption have been examined by our staff veterinarian and treated for any health issues. They have been tested for canine/feline diseases, spayed or neutered, received routine vaccinations (including rabies), been microchipped, and have received a heavy dose of love and attention from all of our staff and volunteers. The main requirement for adoption is that the adopter understand and fully make a life-time commitment to the animal of their choice.Shelter locationThe Roanoke Valley SPCA is open for adoptions Monday - Saturday from Noon to 7pm. Available pets can be viewed in the Animal Gallery on our website at www.rvspca.org. Meet and greet appointments are required to visit with the pets in the shelter.
