Olive is a 45 pound, 3-year-old Terrier mix who came to us as a stray. Very shy and leery of strangers at first, it takes some time to gain this girl's trust. Once we did, we learned that she knows how to sit, shake, and down for treats! Olive might chase cats, and she must meet any resident dog(s) in a potential new home, to make sure they get along. Here at the shelter, Olive seems to do well around other dogs. Because of her energy level, and her tendency to be somewhat skittish, we think Olive will do best in a home with older kids (12 and up recommended). * Olive qualifies for the shelter's Adult Companion Program, for adopters aged 50 and up.
