8/23/2023Skipper is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Skipper! I’m a 6-year-old handsome brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to my owner going to a nursing home and unable to care for my needs any longer. I am said to be friendly, active, smart, playful, and quiet. I am said to be dog friendly and currently live with another boxer, Molly who is also available for adoption, but it’s not a requirement that we be adopted together. It is unsure if I am kid or cat friendly because I have never been around them so a proper introduction would be best. Sometimes I tend to be hyperactive but it’s because I get so excited! I am crate trained but am not house trained so I would need guidance and help learning that manner. I used to be able to be crated inside but now at night I sleep outside due to my owner’s health. I would love for that to change and for me to sleep inside with my family! When I must be left alone it is said that I do fine. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I’m not a fan of riding in the car but love playing and balls!
