Say hello to Carter! This handsome pup was surrendered to us along with his sister, Paisley, and this bonded pair are in search of their forever home! Carter and Paisley need to be adopted together. This duo is as talkative as they come, and love to explore whether that is on a walk or running around the yard! Carter loves treats and is up for almost anything as long as snacks are involved. Carter and Paisley can both be timid when first meeting new people and Carter relies heavily on Paisley for comfort and directions when interacting with new people. Once he is comfortable with you, Carter loves nothing more than getting his butt and ears scratched! Carter is more interested in sniffing around and getting butt scratches than he is in toys, but has preferred tennis balls and stuffed toys if he is in the mood for playing! Carter is very polite on leash and enjoys going for walks with his sister, Paisley. He knows sit and down, and his previous owner said that they were housetrained and crate-trained. This is not something we can fully guarantee as they would need time adjusting to a new home and schedule. Carter and Paisley would not do well in a home with cats or young children per their previous owner. Carter has been selective with other dogs while in his time here and may be content with Paisley as his only friend!
