There's nothing not to like about this sweet guy! Adam is a three year-old 60 pound black and white terrier pit that came to Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/7 as a stray. He came in with Howie. They are different ages so are not from the same litter, but may be from the same household. They also may have just been traveling buddies. They are now sharing the same kennel and get along well. Adam is not neutered. Adam sits for treats and takes them gently. He explored the yard, but then came back to hang out with me. He comes when you call him. He comes wagging his tail, and then puts his head on your lap. He walks OK on a leash. He did his business as soon as he got out into the yard. He was not interested in meeting other dogs, but we suggest if you have another dog to ask a shelter for a dog test. The list of positive adjectives to describe Adam is long: calm,easy going, gentle, well behaved,sweet, affectionate, and friendly( not overly so.) He would make a loving addition to any family. He would want to be included in family activities.
