Boyd is one big love bug! He was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 8/12. Boyd is 3 years old and weighs in at 73 pounds. He has a heart the size of Texas. He loves everybody! He knows to sit, shake and lay down when asked. Unfortunately he is positive for heart worm. Would you love to help Boyd? Ask for ID# 648439 Run 58. He is current on vaccines and neutered and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Boyd tested positive for heart worms but with treatment, most dogs who test positive go on to live long and healthy lives. Ask your vet about treatment options, then come meet this boy. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. You can also show up between 10:30 & 4:00 Tues. thru Sun. (shelter closes at 4:30), you might have to wait a few minutes until someone can help you.
