Prepare your tissues, because Eliza has a sad story. For some reason, Eliza's owner's son tried to bring her in as a stray cat with head wounds, not realizing that she was microchipped back to his mother who was her owner. Eliza has many scabs and hot spots on her body, for which a former vet had ruled to be allergies. We were unable to get much more information than that for anything in Eliza's life so far. All that we know now is, despite her being unwanted by her original owner, she is still very loving and looking forward to a brighter future where she is welcomed. Eliza has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $70 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5.Adoption processAdoption fees are: Cats over a year old $70, Kittens under 1 year old $125, (ALL ADOPTED CATS MUST LEAVE THE SPCA IN A CARRIER) Dogs over a year old $155, Puppies under a year are $275.
