SLIM SHADY American Staffie mix, approx 6yrs Slim is looking for the home of his dreams- since he has been living a nightmare for most of his life... He's had it pretty rough…. outside 24/7 on a SHORT CHAIN, starved, beaten, a pathetic shelter, short chain to a tree and….obviously not shown an ounce of care or compassion. He is a SWEET dog! He greets shelter staff every morning at the door with a huge smile on his face, wiggle butt and wagging tail. Loves attention. Walks great on a leash, might possibly have some hearing deficits as well. He is willing to do anything for his people! He is friendly with all dogs when he meets then and has occasionally been a little selective with other males. Understandable for being incarcerated for so long. He doesn't seem to mind cats! In spite of his prior lack of food and care, he is NOT food protective towards people! He also takes treats with the softest grab! He has gained weight since his arrival- no excuse for his prior condition except for pure neglect and abuse. Slim hasn’t had the greatest run and we believe it’s time for his Redemption, please consider taking home this tired boy that just needs a lucky break!
