Are you looking for a dog who is the perfect size, has an incredible temperament, fun, loving, amazingly smart, eager-to-please dog? You can stop looking as you have found him. Parks is your dog! This poor boy was found lying down in the middle of a Memphis interstate. Emaciated, covered in wounds, road rash, and fleas, he could barely stand from weakness. He is now healed and ready to be your cuddle buddy. He is a moderate-energy dog, he loves to cuddle, but he is not a couch potato. He really loves to be with his humans and will cry at the door if left alone.Parks is leash trained, crate trained, loves riding in the car ( he is always secured with a seat belt, a he is a busybody and wants to help drive.) He cat-friendly and dog friendly, he is super respectful, and reads the body language of other dogs really well.. He is working on not jumping on his humans when excited. He also can be mouthy when he wants attention and to play. He will need to continue training to learn how to control his excitement in greeting people and in play. He is a smart boy who wants to please, so he should learn quickly with patience and consistency. Due to his exuberance, we think older children would be best.
