Mater was rescued from a hoarding situation. Mater is wonderful with other dogs but is still learning to trust people. Another friendly dog in the home will help him tremendously. Mater is not a dog that is going to allow a new person to handle him and needs someone that will be patient and help him find his confidence and continue developing trust with people. Mater will require a home with a yard as he does not walk on a leash yet. However, he is housebroken and will go outside to potty. Mayer is currently fostered with dogs and kids and is making progress every day. He’s never shown any aggression and wants so badly to be loved and to overcome his fears.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mater, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
