Stella is a sweet 1 year old labrador mix who needs some time and patience to warm up before showing you her lovable personality! She may be hesitant at first, but treats are her weakness! After tossing her a few at a distance she will come closer at her own pace for more. Before you know it she will be taking them from your hand with her soft little mouth. You will know she is truly starting to get comfortable when she comes in close for some gentle head pets! When it's time to go out for walks she is very polite and walks loosely right by your side! She may need some time to adjust to new surroundings but giving her the freedom to take things at her own pace goes a long way! The shelter is still pretty scary for this pup so she is ready to get into a nice relaxing home that will love her forever!
