Meet Cooper, a 1 year old, perfectly-sized 45lb, Catahoula/Lab mix who is neutered, potty trained, leash trained, and ready to find his furever home! This gorgeous black and brown boy is great with other dogs and cats and has lived with kids as young as 7. Cooper is incredibly smart and will impress you with his nose! He is shy with new people and places, but just give him a few days to warmup (see 3-3-3 rule) and you will have the most loyal furever companion! Cooper would do well in a home with other dogs and someone who is home often. He is still a puppy and has so much love to give! He loves people but is still a little frightened when meeting someone for the first time (he spent almost all his life before us in a kennel with not a lot of human socialization). But he is super-gentle (no biting, no aggressive behavior we’ve observed). Cooper would love a home where he can get plenty of exercise – he is only a year old so he still loves to run and play.He is extremely sweet-natured. We haven’t seen a hint of hostility or aggressiveness. He just wags his tail and wiggles his butt with joy every time he sees us. He is also extremely smart. He picks up commands like “sit” and “drop” very quickly.If your foster were a celebrity, who would they be?
