Checkers is a 2 year old, 37 pound neutered male mixed breed guy. Checkers was surrendered to a partner animal control with 14 other dogs from the same household. The partner shelter reached out to ITV for help and we were happy to take this sweet guy into our rescue. He clearly has a lot of experience with other canines and has done well meeting many other dogs. Checkers also enjoys all types of treats and is quite food motivated, making training a breeze. Do you like to go to bed early? So does Checkers, as long as he has his toys close by to cuddle with. At his is a great size, of less than 40 pounds, Checkers is great a catch for any size home.
