Charlize is the starlet of your dreams! At just four years old she is the perfect combination of silly & playful energy paired with the wisdom to know the good things in life (like a heartfelt cuddle). She walks nicely on leash, already knows how to sit like a pro, and is very treat motivated and trainable. She'll impress you with her great set of manners! This sweet girl walks perfectly on a leash, staying right ahead without any pull! As she leads the walk she enjoys stopping from time to time to sniff around in the grass and occasionally roll around! As soon as you get moving again you're sure to get a glimpse of her cute butt swaying back in forth in time with her tail! She is such a happy girl with a ton of love to give! There is no denying her gentle stare as she looks up at you with her soft eyes while laying her head in your lap for pets! She is sure to melt your heart! On top of that, she is already well versed with the command sit and is happy to please, that is, for some good treats of course! Charlize recently went on a Dog Day Out! Here's what our volunteer had to say: She is the sweetest little girl. She needs just a minute to warm up, then she wants to cuddle and be best friends. We went to the park, where she really enjoyed sniffing around and rolling in the grass. She enjoyed her pup cup, but mostly wanted to just sit in my lap in the car and snuggle. A doggy seatbelt helped keep everyone safe and she was an excellent car rider while wearing it. Finally, we met with my friend and after a minute, she became Charlize's friend too. She's great on the leash and tries her best to do what you ask. She also knew how to get into and out of the car just fine.On her second DDO she spent a lot of time inside just snuggling and staying cool. She was happy to sleep while soaking up all the pets! She's a velcro dog and loves to give kisses. She is so sweet and would do so well as a low energy apartment dog. I didn't get a chance to walk a ton with her, but when I did, she never pulled and stayed right by me. Always trying to listen and follow the direction I decided to go!Charlize's friends describe her as: Food-motivated, Goofy, Playful and Quirky!Charlize can be selective about dog friends, so bring any current fur babes on over to meet her to be sure they'll be BFFs!
