Hello, wonderful people! I'm Salvadora, a 2 year old female suspected to be a black mouth cur mix! My journey has taken me from the shelter to the warmth of a loving foster home and now I'm ready to find my forever family. Even though I've spent most of my life in a shelter, my heart is full of hope and love, and I can't wait to share that with a special family.Personality I may have missed out on some early life experiences, but that doesn't stop me from being a loving and gentle soul. I am a 2-year-old bundle of joy with a heart full of potential. Here's a bit more about me:Affectionate: I crave human affection and would love nothing more than to cuddle up with you on the couch or lay at your feet.Playful: I'm still young at heart and enjoy playtime, I have a few toys and especially like the furry ones that squeak.Well Adjusted with Good Manners: My time in foster care is teaching me good manners and how to be a great companion. I'm a quick learner and with a little patience and consistent training, I'll be the well-behaved companion you've always wanted. Life in Foster Care Spending my entire life in a shelter hasn't dampened my spirits. I've learned to make the most out of every moment. My short time in foster care has been an incredible experience. My foster parents give me all the love, care, and attention I could ever ask for. I am learning what it's like to be part of a family. I am doing great on becoming house trained. I sleep in my kennel at night, although I am still learning to go in it when my foster parents have to leave me at home. Going on walks is probably my favorite. My foster dad thinks I am doing great on my leash. I'm eager to take the next step in my journey and find a forever home to call my own. Ideal Home I'm open to a variety of homes, but here are some things that would make me especially happy:- A loving family who can provide me with the attention and affection I crave. - A secure yard or a safe place to go for walks to explore the world- Children or other pets are fine with me, as long as we get along.Let's write the next chapter of my life together, filled with love, happiness, and companionship.
