Brooklea has been breeding Goldendoodles and Golden Retrievers since 2005 when Stacy got her first Golden Retrievers Ginger and Bolt and then Geddy. We do not use nor condone the use of guardian homes for adult breeding dogs. In guardian homes a breeder must trust that person to care for their dogs like family, that is rarely the case in those situations and often it becomes a litigation between breeder and "guardian home owner" for rights to the dog, that is treating them like property and here we treat them like FAMILY because they are!! We know our Golden Retrievers, and Goldendoodles the best because they are our pets, our family, which makes us a giant leap above the rest, it also demonstrates that this is not about money but loving, caring families and amazing dogs!
