Farrah is one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet!! Such a gentle soul and loves everyone! She showed up at a resident and they took care of her until rescue could take her in. She got her vetting done and will be ready to travel around the week of May 15th. Farrah gets along great with all dogs and just loves all the foster puppies at her foster mom's home. We don't know her breed, but she resembles a chocolate lab mix and weimaraner. A DNA test would be interesting. Go ahead and apply to adopt this beautiful girl. She is ready to have her forever home!! Farrah (5/15) is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested positive for heartworms, BUT is receiving her treatment now and should be able to travel the week of May 13th. Once treated, she will be as good as new. She says it is not her fault whoever had her before rescue didn't see the importance of heartworm prevention. Thank goodness CPR came to her rescue and raised the funds for her treatment!! The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
