Hello! This is Alvin! He is a very good boy and is eager to be loved. He desires to please his caretakers and is very food motivated. He is currently over excited about getting food, but is quickly learning to be more patient. He is very good on walks and he is house broken. It seems as though he may never have actually lived indoors before be rescued, BUT he LOVES being inside! He wants to be anywhere his caretakers are. He is very smart, and although it seems he has not been trained, I believe firmly that he is very capable of learning, as he was able to learn to sit very quickly.Alvin is best suited for an experienced owner who can take the time to train him. He is submissive and initially timid and cautious, but warms up very quickly. He is tolerant and you can tug on his face and he will NOT bite. However, he has shown mixed reactions with cats.If you have any questions or know anyone looking for a dog, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
