Sage's adoption fee is sponsored by Service Unlimited, Inc for approved applicants! If Sage was a song she’d be “Easy like Sunday Morning.” Sage is such a sweet, easy, soulful pup. Sage is around 6 years old, 65lbs, she is completely house and crate trained and she loves training and learning new tricks. She has the most soulful eyes that will melt any heart! Sage came to Faithful Friends after she was found on the side of the road by a family in an area known for pets being dumped. They brought her home but couldn’t keep her so they brought her to the shelter. We quickly noticed that Sage had an injured back leg and after being looked at by the vet it was discovered she had an old break that had healed wrong and the only option for her was amputation. So Sage is now an adorable tripawd but it doesn’t bother her one bit! She gets around as well as any other dog and she needs no special medicine, equipment or attention. We actually think it gives her character! Sage spent her recovery in a foster home and we learned that she is a perfect house guest! She has wonderful house manners, she loves to snuggle, she can stay home by herself with no problems and she loves everyone who comes to visit her! Sage is the perfect age, around 5 years old. She is passed her puppy period and has figured everything out but she still has the energy to do all the fun things like hiking, walks or playing in the yard. Sage loves every human she meets and her foster mom even took her to work with her! She would prefer to be your one and only pet in the home and she deserves the world after everything she’s been through. Come meet Sage and her soulful puppy eyes!
