MEET SYRUS!!! Syrus was found as a stray in Phoenix. He's approximately 9 months old and is a sweet, intelligent boy that is going to make a great addition to a family. Always eager to please, Syrus loves a good game of fetch or enjoying the outside with his toys. He is a quick learner and will do well with additional training, but already knows sit, stay, lay down and shake. He is house trained and crate trained. Syrus does have some separation anxiety, but with time and some good loving, that may resolve itself, he's still new to having a home. He would do well in a home with another energetic dog to show him the ropes, but no cats! With some time and patience, Syrus is going to make the perfect companion. We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family. Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250. Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200. We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots. All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.
